Minor correction to the changeset summary: actually, it was from the first time I went; the second (the actual last) time, I turned back because the trail became to overgrown

The version history of Walnut Point Wildlife Management Area (14660704) says you created version #1, so I assumed you drew the borders.

Ignore the given source tag (source=aerial). That was autofilled from a previous edit, and I forgot to change it.

When you added "fixme=survey" to most of the trails you added, did you mean to say that they are in need of further surveying, or did you mistakenly use "fixme" to indicate that you surveyed the trails? According to this changeset's tags, a survey was used as a source.

For the TNC preserves, why did you change the operator type from "ngo" to "private"? The Nature Conservancy is an NGO—which is (in most cases) a type of private organization—correct?

Where was it said that "Walnut Point Wildlife Management Area" was separate from Walnut Point State Park? It is not on this map (https://pscc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=fb8dbaacc7b04c7fa12e850b9e7141ab). Indeed, there aren't any useful search results.

Who owns/operates Chase Street Conservation Area (way/434022284)? That info should probably be included in the tags.

Correction to changeset description: Added State Natural Area, wetland, and ponds.

Correction to description, having forgotten to replace the autofilled description (for a previous changeset): added a State Habitat Area.

I have an idea: split the garden and mansion areas from the surrounding nature reserve; tag the former as a park, the latter as a nature reserve (named Allerton Natural Area); and unite them as/within a relation.

Also, the official website calls the place "Allerton Park & Retreat Center", not "Robert Allerton Park".

I'd do this all myself, but I'm relatively new to editing OSM, so I don't want to mess something up.

Stupid glitchy autofill. Correct comment: "Looks like a boulder to me".

Ignore the "source=website" tag. It was autofilled, and I forgot to change it before uploading.

Also, the OSM Wiki's description of "leisure=nature_reserve" reads: "A protected area of importance for wildlife, flora, fauna or features of geological or other special interest."

Unless I overlooked or misunderstand something, a permanent restriction on the sale of the land doesn't seem to be (according to the OSM Wiki) an explicit requirement to be considered "protected". In fact, the accepted values for the key "protected" include "limited" and "temporary".

Forgot to add that the GPS device used was an iPhone SE 2020.

Correction: the "nature preserves" (Russel M. Duffin; Doris Westfall Prairie Restoration, Forest Glen Seep, and Howard's Hollow Seep) are owned by Vermilion County Conservation District, but are also part of the Illinois Nature Preserves System (https://dnr.illinois.gov/inpc.html).
