Hi, thanks for the link. Looks like that map is based on the official Parks Vic notes/map, which I managed to find after leaving my last comment. Problem is that park note was last updated in 2002 and doesn't reflect many of the changes that have happened in the last 22 yrs. Thankfully in this case it wasn't too hard to confirm the existence of these tracks by just visiting them.

Today I visited some of these tracks in RJ Hamer Arboretum to search for them and can confirm they no longer exist. I'll update these ones as either abandoned or closed.

Hi, many of the new tracks added in RJ Hamer Arboretum don't actually exist on the ground and are not visible. Examples are those from Rock Track to Dam Track, and Rock Track to Mathias Road. These may have existed previously but have long been abandoned and are now overgrown/blocked. I'd suggest tagging these as abandoned ("abandoned:highway"). I'd be interested to see any Parks Vic maps that show these tracks, if there's a web link to these? Cheers.

Hi Warin61, no worries thanks, I wasn't aware that wasn't allowed but it makes sense. I'll modify the outer way and reinstate those buildings/outdoor area.

Hi just wanted to get in touch regarding the service roads added under Crown Casino between Whiteman Street and the Kings Way bridge. Both sides are actually entrances to the underground paid carpark. Can you confirm that the roads connect through in the way shown, or otherwise update them? Cheers, Richard

Hi, thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware of that. I'll separate the ways.

Hi, similar comments to those I added in your other changeset/114013893. Regarding your changes to some footpaths into pedestrian streets, there's been a bit of discussion on the OSM Talk-AU forum here: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-au/2021-November/015336.html.
In summary, pedestrian streets should only be used when they appear as such on the ground. They shouldn't be used to imply pedestrian routes or hierarchies regardless of their appearance. E.g. sections of Rainforest Walk and Chancellors Walk are simple footpaths not wide enough to be considered a "street" or "road" for pedestrians.
To denote a walking route, you could try tagging "route=foot" on the relevant ways rather than changing all the ways to pedestrian streets. More information on routes, pedestrian streets and footpaths can be found on the OSM Wiki:
route=foot
highway=pedestrian
highway=footway
Cheers.
