The woodland is mapped as CROW access land, which provides a general right of access on foot. However, this does not mean that new official footpaths or promoted routes can be created across the woodland.
There are already two designated public footpaths serving the area. The line currently being shown is not a recorded public right of way, designated route, or permissive path, and its inclusion is misleading.
I would therefore respectfully request that the route is removed/reverted and that users are directed to the existing designated footpaths instead.
