@spiregrain: My idea converts the non-quad world into quads. This is a great add on for converting jagged edges of quads into organic looking worlds. Thank You.

@vorpalblade: This is a great edge detector that does its intended purpose well. Thank You. My purpose is to convert organic images of farmland into nodes. The above add-on targets solid color diagrams of buildings into nodes. I can convert organic images into inorganic diagrams through some sliders and then send it onto the above add on to create something more relevant.

My addon making ability would be limited to a single program Java Code that uses previously existing libraries.

@kucai The 20 foot pole can not break down and go into a car. Also I will need to bring it into an apartment.

@andy mackey I do appreciate the concern. I do think their is a chance I would not no that. I have read up on warnings about electrocution prior to this conversation, but I am still happy you brought it up.

One thing that crossed my mind is walking under 161 kV power lines as dangerous due to the length of the object even if it is not in the air.

(Insert lazy excuse here about what work I would have to go through to show proof.) (Finals week is soon)

3 poles end to end with a camera on top goes into OpenDroneMap which makes a image that goes into OpenAriealMap which can be used in OSM.

@SomeoneElse, I understand GPS traces do not directly impact the map. I just wanted to use my phone GPS to confirm the location of certain features for desktop users to place down, only to see it off by many meters in different sections. The local mappers can see the obvious errors. Thank you for your concern, sorry about my initial vagueness.
