Hi, The missing sidewalks have been added up to the next junction where the crosswalk starts. We’ll ensure that sidewalks are connected and not isolated. Thank you for your feedback

Hello jmapb, Thank you for your review and for partially reverting the changeset while preserving the accurate edits, I really appreciate your attention to detail. I tried to realign the data as per Bing imagery, but some portion of sidewalk overlapped with building data; here i could have corrected. Thanks for the changes

To answer your questions
- The goal is to improve pedestrian infrastructure representation, especially in areas with high foot traffic.
- Changes are usually triggered when we observe issues such as missing crosswalks & sidewalks, disconnected crossings, misaligned paths etc. The recommended changes depend on the situation but typically involve adding or correcting sidewalks, crosswalks, and pedestrian paths to ensure logical and accessible pedestrian navigation.
- Each task is reviewed by separate contributors; experienced with OSM editing guidelines. Validators check for geometry accuracy, tagging consistency, and real-world alignment (via imagery or street-level sources where available). If any issues are found, changes are corrected or modified with comments.

We’ll take extra care to avoid routing paths through private or building areas in future tasks.

Thanks, PedestrianMapping_HopMapper
