Hi, the arboretum is now tagged aa garden, not sure if it was you who I need to talk to. Now with the element set to garden we do nolonger see the green grass areas along the creeks that pass through the forest. Yes it is OSM technically a garden (arboretum), but with the previous setting to managed forest at least there was additional visual info on what where the sunny paths were. Check kleineflossendelleweg for an example how it was in the past.

It starts at Breendonk. All is just proposed information.
Willebroek- Brussel Noord is indeed better, even if (in my books) there will not be any money to go beyond Heizel/Heysel.

anders gewoon Bramentuinpad?

Er staat een bord, geen straatnaam. https://www.burreken.be/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/BWG-bramenfolder2014_volledig.pdf

I do agree Visbeek is a weird ditch. Geodata BXL shows the Visbeek.

Vleesgracht is part of the waistwater /sewer system now.

yes, needed to be a Note tag of course.
Thanks for signaling.

05/08/2021: I confirm "sur place" that the bridge is as I originally mapped it, with a bikelane at the South for bidirectional cycling. The signs have been added for cyclists to the signpost seen on google maps.

I guess the town responsibles have forgotten then to add the exception for the cyclists to be bidirectional. I will write to the responsible people in the governement on this. Goal is to have the cyclist pass on this bridge as the cycle path ends on both sides of the river. And the big square north of the bridge is a hazard for cyclists. on Google maps you can see that the bridge was in use for cyclist only. I need to go and check the latest situation again. Maybe they did a test and will adapt the signs , but execution is still awaiting the realisation.

Excuses, was me niet bewust van de aanpassingen. Kan u met lokale kennis de zaak corrigeren of nakijken. dankje

Well they are natural, I know. I placed them there as these are one of the only features that can show relief on the maps. That and cliffs, but it is not really a cliff as the drop is not that dramatic. Valleys (green lines) do not show. Embankments in literal sense are 95% features of an elevated road and have an alternative way to set it as a property of the path itselve (cutting and embankment) . Sudden drops of relief do not show well on elevation charts too as they are too sudden and small. If there is a better way to show small valleys in the maps as visible objects I would prefer that. If you know the castle of Gaasbeek, there you can see embankments as fortifications of the castle but also as just landscaping. What is the better approach that makes people see where the nicest, most dramatic landscaping has happened (man made or by nature)?

Can you revert your revert?
You made one of the busiest bus streets a one way after your survey. Emile Carpentier. I just went and had a look and observed busses and cyclists use of the crossing at the part Crickx. yes I live in Kuregem. the only thing that was wrong was the pedestrian crossing, which by the way is now officially placed in the most dangerous part of the streets. 3 streets + 1 cyslist path (which is by the way not an official path direction East but ok, let us leave it at that as it is the safest place for the cyclists on that perilous crossing).
After that you revert your revert I will do a small correction still to make navigation instructions better and safer. PS: Always pleasant to have contact if we need to revert stuff. I would have reverted much more if I needed to look at outdated maps.

Look at Rue Orphelinat.
You can see that bikes can take the internal path too, but need to slow down to take the steel barrier safely...
On some spots cylists can also go in pedestrian zones when going not faster than a pedestrian (BE 6 kmh) or jogger (NL 15 kmh).

So yes when faster or too dangerous => change it at your discretion. I did not see the sign it was not allowed when driving there 2 weeks ago.

Hi, there is also the Tunnel=True flag.
I did a test with Molendal straat (Close to Ninoofsesteenweg. Layer 0 with tunnel=yes does not trigger events with other elements in layer 0, except if those are also in a tunnel=yes state. Rivers can be diverted temporarily to a layer down if they cross one of the other existing tunnels=> Syphons allow even for rivers to cross each other. Example of crossing creeks are the Weesbeek X Molenbeek in Silsombos. If you like hiking => definetly a nice place to visit. I have no clue on what level to put the rivers especially if they are canalised. But even putting them on -1 or -2 there might be a conflict. So I guess every crossing needs to be untangled locally. About tubes/metro's I know they go up and down all the time. About rivers I know they do not do that for 99% of the time. If you look at rivers all over the world I would personally put them on level 0. With the bridges on +1 (+2). and cartunnels on -1 or -2. Water is lighter than earth => river float on top. I am no expert on that layer thing so correct where needed please.
