That was a data entry error. Thank you for finding it and making the correction.

I agree with you. When I first added the roads, I misunderstood the definition of track. As I have been doing specific edits, I have changed the minor roads over to tracks but I have not gone back and systematically reclassified the minor roads.

I did not pay attention to GNIS identifiers when I was cleaning up the NHD import in this area. There were many errors in the imported dataset. I am not surprised that GNIS identifiers have some glitches..

Thanks for your attention to this issue.

Good catch. There is a fee to use the parking lot (NW Forest Pass) but not to use the toilet. I will make the correction.

At the time the edits were submitted four years ago, I was under the impression that tracks were dirt roads that could only be driven on by a four wheel drive vehicle. After viewing your comment, I went back and reviewed the latest OSM guidance on what roads should be classifed as tracks and see that you are correct, the majority of the these roads should be tracks with the possible exceptions of the main line roads which cross the entire forest.

I see your point. I will leave out these links in the future.

Yes with some selective editing based on aerial imagery and 3D surface.

That is the wikipedia link to the lake in the Cebuano language page. Someone ran a bot creating a number of wikipedia articles in the Cebuano language. Teal Lake happened to be one of many features with wikipedia articles about them in Cebuano. As there is no English wikipedia article about Teal Lake I included the Cebuano article under the assumption that more information is better than less information.

Thank you for taking an interest in my work. I offer these comments in my defense:
1) in terms of adding "EVERY TINIEST waterway", I have been mapping following the level of detail in the USGS National Map, nothing more, nothing less.
2) as far as creating ZERO intersections with roads, often the roads in OSM (especially in rural areas like wildlife refuges) have very poor locational accuracy. I don't see the point of adding intersections where the location of the road is not accurate. I try to add intersections with most roads that have been mapped accurately.

Hi,

Sorry, I use the StreamOrder tag in my edit process but am supposed to remove them before uploading to OSM. Thanks for catching that, I think I have removed all of them now. Let me know if you find any more.

Sorry, that was an artifact from pre-processing that slipped through. They have been removed now.

The state rules provide for a buffer around riparian zones. That is what you see with trees still standing along streams.

I deleted the wikipedia and wikidata tags from the outer way and added them to the lake relationship.

I finally got a chance to check this but it looks like you already fixed it for me. Thank you!

I have modified the boundary tags to be "protected_area" for the features in the changeset.
