The translations are a combination of names published by AT, shown on signs on the ground or heard on a bus, and for places with neither, the names are derived using the same rules. I'm trying to keep the list and rules at osm.wiki/North_Island#M%C4%81ori_names

As more signs appear, the list and rules are updated, e.g. with the recent opening of CRL which has Māori translations on official station maps, I noticed that most streets do not actually have “Te” in their name, unlike bus stops on them which do, and also that some phrases that I only heard on a bus before are spelled as two separate words rather than one compound word. A lot of these are still incorrect in many places in OSM.

What general consensus are you talking about? The general consensus is what the map has shown for the last 15 years. If you want to change all that, please contact Talk-cz first, do not just change classifications because you feel that it should be different.

It is not true that all divided highways in Czechia are mapped as trunk road, this also depends on the legal classification and speed limits. In fact, you yourself classified e.g. Nuselský most as secondary even though that is clearly a divided highway with 6 lanes.

There is a sidewalk near Poděbradská and on the bridge over Rokytka.

I/3 is not a motorroad. Please follow established guidelines for Czechia.

I and many other Czech mappers have commented on many, many of your changesets that your changes do not follow established guidelines for mapping in Czechia (as agreed by Talk-cz and documented in OSM wiki) and ignore legal classifications, and you didn't provide a single source for your changes even when repeatedly asked.

Talk-cz moc nesleduju (v Česku se vyskytuju jenom občas), tak o tomhle rozhodnutí nevím. Pokud se tohle změnilo, bylo by dobré Wiki aktualizovat. Ty změny vrátím. Pravděpodobně ale nebudu jediný, kdo to bude měnit, v Google, Apple a Waze mapách to mají podle pravopisu, tj. někdo to tam již opravoval.

Road classifications are based on Czech law. Na Strži is a local communication 1st class. Do not change road classifications just because you think so, that is vandalism.

Tahle změna neodpovídá skutečnosti. Podle ŘSD je tohle II/157 a I/3 tudy nevede.

Podle ŘSD tahle silnice není součást I/57, ta vede východně odsud (a je zmapovaná v OSM)
