| 149088564 | 4 months ago | Hi Victor, I hope you are well. I was always curious about this. Having "All" set to "yes" and then having a "no" in one option, like foot access, seems confusing because "All" is not logically true. Having "no" in "All" and "yes" to the ones that are permitted seems to more accurately reflect the logic of the situation. This is probably the programmer in me speaking. But then I think the most important thing is how rendering clients interpret this kind of information. I don't know whats best, keen to get your thoughts. Nick |
| 92997728 | over 1 year ago | I have switched them to highway=service for now. Thanks

| 92997728 | over 1 year ago | Looking at the guidance I see that because there are permanent residences along them we should consider using highway=residential or highway=service. I don't mind. I am sure the people that live down there mind not having a proper road to access their properties though <g> We have this issue at a property in Romania and it is exhausting driving up and down compacted tracks every time you want to go to the shop or anywhere else. Thanks

| 92997728 | over 1 year ago | Hi Milan,
These are access roads but they are tracks in their physical characteristic. Are tracks not routable features? I was under the impression that they were. I reviewed the area using the OSM Inspector and found no routing issues for these tracks. You can also view that here: I think the classification should be based on the physical nature of the entities unless there is a really good reason not to do so. Let me know what you think. Thanks

| 149755412 | over 1 year ago | Hi Victor, thats a good spot. I was tagging driveways as private and somehow managed to tag the street. I have fixed the issue. That's a very good spot, I would not have noticed that for several weeks until I returned to that area again. I will double-check going forward to make sure I don't make any mistakes like that again. Thanks
