Your change of أبو لحم to أبو لاحم was automatically reverted to match the data provided by the ministry of transportation, which is also the name that appears in navigation apps (Egg, Moovit, Google Maps, etc.) and *should* be the name printed on the physical sign of the bus stop. As a community, we have decided that matching the name as it appears everywhere is the most important factor.

I don't speak or read Arabic so I can't understand why you made the change or what it means. Is it a misspelling in the stop name? In any case, it can be changed by contacting the data provider and asking them to make the change. That way, the change will also appear on other platforms, which is good for everyone :)

I don't remember, but it was probably that the example photo in StreetComplete was most similar to the surface. I was fairly new to editing OSM at that time so it's possible I got it wrong. If you surveyed the area and think it should be different, feel free to change it.

היי, במסוף החדש כבר מופיעות תחנות האוטובוס החדשות. מבחינת המיפוי, זו תחנת אוטובוס חדשה עם מספר חדש (2206, לעומת 35335 של התחנה במיקום הישן). אני חושב שצריך להחזיר את התחנה שהזזת למיקום הישן שלה.

אם התחנה כבר לא קיימת בפועל (אם אין שלט עם רשימת הקווים העוצרים שם), אז אפשר למחוק אותה.

My script osm.wiki/Gtfs2osm returned the bus stop to where it was due to its rules (< 3m). This caused it to still appear to be exactly on the footpath, though not as an actual node of it.

I tried to tweak the geometry to correct for that: changeset/183507217 , can you verify that it's a match for what's on the ground?

pitscheplatsch, what have you been using the name:en1 tags for? Most likely your code needs to be adjusted, as en1 isn't a valid language tag. I encourage you to click the link in the changeset description and join the discussion.

Rate limits are automatically increased, based almost entirely on how much time has passed since your first OSM edit. I think it maxes out after a few weeks.

I'm not sure if OSM admins ever change that parameter manually, or if the code behind it even allows them to.
