Also, it would be preferred if you add "GPS Traces" or the actual indicator of the same as the source in the source section.

1) While yes, Hindi is native to India, but it's not the sole language. Moreover, it is only the official language of the Central Government, alongside English, and not a constitutionally designated "national" language. The Constitution allows states autonomy in language policy, protects minority languages under Articles 29 and 30, and uses the Eighth Schedule to promote the linguistic diversity.

And while it's also true that English was brought to the subcontinent because of colonialisation, it's only practical for us to keep using it given it acts as a bridge between the two scripts, Devnagari and Dravidian (and languages on extreme ends of the same script on either).

2) As you're a non-native to the region, I'd highly advise you to stay away from deciding what's right for others. The Indian community has always prioritised English & Romanised form of regional languages for naming things. We have the capability to decide what works the best for us.

P.S: If the Government were to change its official name, they would announce the same and we would have done it a long time ago anyway.

Please refrain from making such uninformed changes. The "name=*" tag is used for the common name of the place/thing, or in this case, the country. Hindi is not the sole language, and so should be in "name:hi=*" instead (i.e, the tag for the name explicitly in Hindi characters), which already exists.

I guess the latter works best. Eitherway, I'm noting this for future changesets.

Hi. I've noticed that every road created here (except for 2, way/1052013400 and way/1052013404) does not exist, i.e, they're false positives given by AI, which is easily verifiable with any satellite imagery.

The lack of QA for the edits here, that too while using AI which is prone to false positives every often, is concerning. So would you mind elaborating what made you go ahead with these?

Hi Nilesh! Please note that there is no diversion to the bridge under construction like you added here. I drove there myself and saw multiple signs warning of the closed bridge ahead and verified it. Kindly refrain from making such uninformed edits, and consult with the regional community before going ahead. I'll revert this edit immediately.
