Hi! It's a city maintained limited-access roadway; however, Canada (and specifically Alberta) does not have 'official' motorways. I would be inclined to leave it as-is.

It happened sometime either late-2022 or early-2023, I was directly involved in the project. You can also verify it the City of Calgary Map Gallery - https://mapgallery.calgary.ca/. I used myProperty which also shows some of the associated parcel addresses that use Stampede Trail; https://mapgallery.calgary.ca/apps/d9fcb476b89f41b397f03cd63bb710c4/explore.

Olympic Way SE still remains between 9 & 12 Ave SE.

There were some new signs that went up at 12 Ave SE that show Stampede Trail.

Fair enough - though if Trunk is reserved for NHS then a case could be made to downgrade Terwillegar Dr to Primary (?).

I'm thinking there should be a statute of limitations for those being Primary, even if they're former highways, as the current use of the roadways doesn't reflect that they are Primary. AB 2/AB 14 haven't gone through Old Strathcona for nearly 40 years, same with AB 16 along 111 Ave/118 Ave.

My apologies, I reversed the change.

The name is unique, but accurate. It's the name of the First Nation Reserve; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siksika_Nation or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siksika_146.
