2026-04-29: Reverted bus lane highway types.

Hi. It appears this edit has caused bus lanes to disappear from the map. For example:

It also prevents bicycle route planners from routing along them, because as per the tag description "…Busways are not meant to be used by motorists, pedestrians (if no sidewalk is present), or cyclists". So many route planners will ignore them.

This is problematic for people who travel by bicycle and/or route plan for them. It needs changing back, as it causes major issues for no benefit.

These are not all public bridleways. You have added bicycle=designated tags to public footpaths too, which is incorrect and is going to send cyclists down routes they do not have legal access rights for.

You need to either:

1) Revert these all these edits and start again.

2) Go back through all the rights of way you have changed and remove the bicycle=designated tags from the public footpaths.

In a very rare event where a road or path needs to be deleted – rather than edited – please don't delete it without adding the new one, as this is live data.

This changeset has deleted lots of items including roads which has left other roads orphaned. Please can you verify this is intentional?

Thank you for confirming. While it's wide enough to be a shared path, I can't see any physical signs, ground markings or other information (such as the Swindon Travel Choices/Wichelstowe websites, etc.) indicating bicycles have access rights to use this path and am concerned that cyclists are going to be routed down a path they do not have legal access rights to use. Furthermore, the type of gate at the end is not consistent with what I would expect if it was a shared path.

While I would be happy to leave the bicycle access tag in place, without any official source indicating that bicycles are permitted, I will need to remove the bicycle access tag.

Please can you provide the source of this building shape change?

I think it's likely you have accidently pressed the "O" keyboard shortcut and inadvertently circularized the building. In which case, it needs to be changed back to the original shape.

If there is no valid reason for changing the name from "River Thames" to "Thames Winterbourne", this changeset needs to be reverted.
