| 168897332 | Indeed it is! sorry about the service road, ill keep that in mind for the future! to allow me to go into more detail. Farming simulator maps sizes are mesured in two ways, in terms of X scale or KM scale, a 1x (or 1 tile/scale) map is 2km by 2km or 4km squared total. the typical map sizes are 1x, or 4km^2, 4x or 16km^2 (4x meaning the map size has been increased to fit 4 1x maps within) and 16x, or 64km^. in recent testing i discovered a theoretical 64x or 16 x 16km/256km^ map was possible, and thus wanting to base said map off a location irl, I picked here. in theory this is the first real 64x map with IRL terrain data, the largest in the series history. im sorry about your recent experiences with people misusing the maps4fs system, i wish to keep all the fields as accurate to irl as possible, most modders split the fields as you mentioned before due to the fact the standard map sizes are so small, a single field would be boring... Because im useing a 64x the standard map size, this isnt an issue. id like to close off for now that the area east of merredin I edited is the top left most corner, in the coming days ill outline every field around the total map edge so you can see just how much/ how large it will be, then start working on the center.
