That’s fair. This is a runoff pond and that small extension gets a lot of its water from the pond uphill. So that extension area often drains pretty low and it’s where people use it to launch their boats or go fishing as it is regularly dry.

I know we are not a coastal area, but I noticed that the boat launches that we’re not official ramps in my area were classified as beach in a couple other parts of town so I was just mirroring that aspect. If that goes against community guidelines, I completely apologize. I’m only trying to edit areas that I know have a significance that I can identify visually.
