What is your source for this changeset? Please note that transliteration is generally discouraged in OSM, with the exception of languages that have multiple orthographies.
I have reverted this changeset. According to the Wiki, highway=pedestrian is meant for use on pedestrianized roads, which the reverted ways are not.
Edit: specifically removing ways from closed polygons can break relations.
This changeset has been reverted. Please do not remove ways from relations as this makes them unusable.

I think you are looking for 'service=driveway' and 'driveway=pipestem'. This is documented in the OSMWiki but does not have an iD preset.
I reverted this changeset because neither of these places fit the criteria for a 'place=village' as described in the Wiki. Is there a source or sources that you are using to reclassify settlements?

I have reverted this changeset because none of these places fit the criteria for 'place=village'. Since these places are all located at major intersections within an urban area, 'place=square' is the correct tag.
This is the wrong changeset. Please disregard the above comment.

I have reverted this changeset because it is based on outdated imagery. This section of Washington Street has since been repaved and the crosswalk has been repainted further away from the road.
I have reverted this changeset in full as it removes the realignment of various roads and sidewalks
I agree that motor_vehicle=destination is a better tag here, however "Dangerous Passing" is definitely not a name. It is more a way for the town to discourage through traffic even though it is technically legal, because the alley does not have its own parcel. There are multiple other "Dangerous Passing" signs nearby, for example off of Tappan Street behind Star Market and between Beacon and Garrison. Also, the alley should connect to Corey Road since there is no obstruction on that side.
Can you explain how you are deriving the Persian names of places in Vietnam? Is there a source you are using?
Do you know of any reputable Celtic-language sources that refer to Denali by name? I couldn't find any established usage outside of Wikipedia, which itself doesn't cite any sources in the languages you added. Also, the "int_name" tag should address the languages that do not have a verifiable exonym.
I will work on finding sources for exonyms today, starting with the removed languages.
I have been keeping up with the forum discussion and have reread the messages related to Denali. I removed a few of the languages because I assumed they were transliterations. If there are authoritative sources proving that each multilingual name is a valid exonym, then they should be added or readded. This changeset also modified the Athabascan/Dena and historical Russian names of the mountain based on primary sources, so it should not be reverted in whole.
Yeah you're right, thanks for realigning the crosswalks to the current layout. I'm assuming you have a GPS track? It doesn't seem like there is any imagery from 2024
Why did you remove the "name:hy" tags? The city is still called Stepanakert by Armenian speakers.

Hi there and welcome to OSM! It's always nice to see other people improving the map locally. Out of courtesy for other mappers, it is helpful if your changeset comments provide more insight into how you are changing the map in addition to where. The below link provides some examples. Thanks and happy mapping!
