Dear Neisbot,
it was intentionally. In the area I was mapping I found about 20 round builings (each with about a dozen white"nodes"?) which have already been mapped twice (i.e. with a 100% or close to 100% overlap). I deleted the redundant ones. IMO no information has been lost.
