Thanks for checking on my edits! Right, that explains it then. I understand your reasoning and that does make sense. But I'm not sure that Sontamatia is really an alternate for Nusantaumatai. Nowadays, I know with no ambiguity that Nusantaumatai is that small fleck that has a couple of houses on it (and which is in fact partly artificial). One of those houses belongs to a guy I know quite well, Kenny, and I often stop by at his place on my way to Metevoe. But on the old US Army map (https://nla.gov.au/nla.obj-232802512/view ) both Sontamatia and Nsuantaumatai are marked, although the locations they are supposed to be pointing to are very unclear and clearly just wrong. And on that map, there is no Neila at all...
