That is interesting. I’m using the TfNSW cycling infrastructure dataset that is on open data hub. I know TfNSW gets its source from the councils more frequently nowadays. Very misleading if the are flagging these as shared paths. Please let me know if you find concrete example and I will make them aware. In the meantime I will stay away from areas where I can’t see anything n imagery and or Mapillary.

no problem. its hard to keep up with the school grounds in the Sydney West growth areas. Gledswood Hills HS for example is temporarily within Gregory Hills PS school grounds! year 7 only

You are correct in saying that the osm data model requires to pick single wharf for each end of a route. For TfNSW to use the osm ferry network for routing led to 2 options, 1) map each variant as route or try to simplify the network by still trying to maintain the main routes. which would just be a big spaghetti mess 2) but rather add segments in between to connect various variations.

We are happy to simplify the network and clean up the relations but hopefully you understand our view and we as TfNSW can keep using the osm ferry route network how we have in the past.

at the moment Sydney Ferries 61 variants out of 206 are non routeable
and 25 out of 72 variants for Private Ferries. I just sent you a message with link to kmls that gives more insight.

These changes are now having huge impacted on routing for many of our (TfNSW) services/trips. Example is F1 Sydney Ferries leaving Circular Quay to Manly - using Wharf 3 and Wharf 4. Many other services go from various different wharves depending on time of day and day. What is your source for these changes?

Hi, can the restriction "straight on" be fixed. it is possible to turn left into Five Islands Rd at the intersection Springhill Rd and Five Island Rd when travelling Southbound Springwood Rd.

make sure that they "one way" is tagged correctly. in some cases the direction is alternative for some services. ie at Revesby Station - T8 Revesby to Central
