Thanks for reaching out to me with these concerns!
I noticed when working in this area that the edits from (changeset/107864321) created overlapping ways with the unclassified road in this location (way/429057009). I removed the steps based on Maxar Standard Imagery, which from my first look I thought the road continued south to the houses around (50.99925535,34.850970950000004) but it seems you may have some more local knowledge or some other resource to prove the steps and path exist here. I discovered this overlap from a validation warning and with no evidence of the steps and path I removed them. Would you recommend that I revert my edit and also make changes to (way/429057009) so that the highway connection does not go all the way through?

We follow OSM and local modeling policies whenever we edit. In particular, I was following (osm.wiki/Highway_link) which states that link roads normally don’t have names. I also noticed this intersection is at-grade (https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=22.312200609583336&lng=114.2353374325&z=17&pKey=KnA2c8Dw62NHYsRXA8QL-A&focus=photo&x=0.5106152217627737&y=0.6059716890171211&zoom=0) and has remained tertiary for some time. Other parts of Hong Kong also follow the same base classifications instead of links like way/238019066 and way/516172419. Is it your preference that ways at Y-junctions such as this are better classified as links? Thanks for reaching out.
