I'm not sure which is going to be better. About a quarter of the park's greenery is managed by the city and there are no designated trails and it is entirely open to the general public. I think the only reason more of it hasn't been managed is because the local community is against it but there doesn't seem to be any actual legal protections to prevent it.
Anyways, thanks for the info; if you think it needs to be changed still, go ahead. I just wanted to get some of these local parks on the map.

So I'm not sure if this is actually a preserve with any added protections.
