The actual suggestion was that adding both Bus and PSV= designated as tags fixed the snappping issue. The tag is available to use - it doesn't make it unecessary. Again, if I have set Motor Vehicles as a whole to the incorrect tag, then apologies for that.

Hi, I must have selected this particular section of road in error. The edit to "desginated" and PSV and Bus to be "Yes" was suggested in the Busmiles Discord server, which is the reason I was updating all the "bus only" areas with these tags.

If Designated is the wrong tag, but another tag would continue to allow the features on Busmiles to function in the same way ("Snapping" to roads restricted to only buses such as Basingstoke Bus Station, then please could this be advised?

Understand that this isn't the primary function of OSM but given PSV and Bus tags exist, making use of them.

Hi, yes Friar Street is bidirectional for all. It’s the section of Station Road which joins onto Forbury Road which is buses-only Westbound. :)
