Thanks for relocating the Plough Island Skiway back to the sea ice. It was causing a problem showing it on land because of the implied environmental impact.

The next issue is that the roads to both of the temporary sea ice landing areas are not correct.

1. The vehicle access to the Davis sea ice landing area is off the beach at Davis station. There is no road access leading off the shore. The road comes to an end at approximately -68.574109°S 77.964517°E
Also there is no defined roadway across the sea ice as shown.

2. Similarly for the Plough Island temporary ski way the road is shown crossing the shoreline and extending onto the sea ice. This is not correct. The road comes to an end at -68.547657°S, 78.022732°E
which is the location of Law Cairn. The vehicle access to the Plough Island Skiway (when it exists - and it might be about to come back in existence briefly in the next week or so) is via the coastal sea ice from the Davis beach and this route will vary according to ice conditions every year.

Refer to the latest Google Earth imagery for confirmation of the road extent.

I'm unsure of the OpenStreetMap policy about showing temporary structures built on ice so I won't venture an opinion on whether these skiways should be shown at all. But the skiway that could be shown without too much argument would be the whoop-whoop skiway on the ice plateau. As shown on the Australian Antarctic Data Centre map:

as it's on "permanent" ice. There'll be an associated route leading across the ice plateau to the edge of the sea ice. But there is no defined route on sea ice because the conditions vary every season.
