I thought I had the address already entered. It is Hunters Way and originally the street was shorter, so I extended the street and added the number. I must have missed confirming that I had the street name in. Sorry

Hi, this area is very confusing, and I realized that I had put Coffin Lane in the wrong place. Where I had originally put the road, is not a "developed" road. Where I moved Coffin Lane to was/is a road that was never named. As for not finding it or no street sign. The town just ordered the street sign, so it may not be placed until the spring of 2021.
I appreciate your patience while I slowly figure out how this system works. If there is any helpful hints or guidance you could offer, I would greatly appreciate it.

Alex,
I am the Tax Assessor and Addressing Officer for the Town of Kennebunkport. Kings Highway, along with some of the side streets were all re-numbered due to E911 Issues. Re-numbering doesn't happen frequently, but we do have new streets created due to development and addresses are assigned then. There are several areas in town that currently have problems with house numbers, those will also be corrected, so there will be more at some point. The Kings Highway area had the most issues. While in the system, I found other missing roads, etc. so I corrected those as well. As the Addressing Officer, the Fire Chief and I do the re-addressing or assigning of house numbers, and new streets, all per the Town of Kennebunkports Street Ordinance. I did do all the work manually on both the State of Maine E911 system, and here.
I am not sure if I answered all of your questions, but I would be more than happy to provide information to help you get the information published quickly. Just let me know how you want to do things. My direct office line is 207-967-1603. bnolette@kennebunkportme.gov
Thanks so much!
Becky
