I see you've made a number of changesets similar to this one in the time since my previous comment. I've gone ahead and restored the clli=LYWDWAJG tag on this building in changeset/156104840.

Was the removal of the clli tag intentional? I don't believe that a change in operator would invalidate the existing CLLI assigned to the building. Googling "LYWDWAJG" shows that several networks still use it to refer to this building.

The crows in the park got very agitated with me when I got near the water - I think they may be nesting nearby.

I think there's an additional private cut-through segment east of the house, onto the driveway north of it, that was deleted by user "Road doesn't exist", which this revert didn't restore:

I don't have a dog in this fight (I just noticed it in recent changes), but I would like to point out:

I don't plan on unilaterally reverting without further community input, but I believe this edit violates OSM policy. The correct approach is to keep the driveway fully mapped, but with access=private. I'm sorry people are trespassing on your property, but OSM maps what exists on the ground, not what property owners want us to map.

CLLI is a telecom industry location code; it refers to the entire building, not an individual datacenter space within it. This building is a "carrier hotel", with telecom/datacenter space being its primary purpose, and contains many data centers. The wiki page for telecom=data_center suggests that the entire building should be tagged in most cases where a building contains a data center.

Tagging the whole building as telecom=data_center isn't perfect, I'd agree. I'd tag telecom=carrier_hotel instead, but that doesn't seem to be a thing. My understanding is that there are lots of datacenter spaces scattered throughout the building, not limited to a specific floor, and that over time this is becoming the predominant use of the building, as is often the case with carrier hotels. My home-city carrier hotel (Westin Building, 223928497) is generally seen as a "datacenter building" and is non-controversially tagged telecom=datacenter, despite having a small amount of non-telecom office space leased, and I modeled this off of that, but I'm not as familiar with this building and this may not transfer over. Open to changes here!

I'm pretty sure the clli= tag does belong on the building, though, as it's a building code, not specific to an individual datacenter space.

Both phidauex and Glassman have pointed out <osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_map_temporary_events_and_temporary_features> in the comments of <changeset/86421406>. I missed that -- most of the wiki search results for 'temporary' are about how to properly tag specific types of temporary features.

Protestors are pretty clear that they expect to stay. "Every day" has been a consistent chant, both before and after the establishment of the autonomous zone. I'm not well-versed in searching OSM, so I don't know how to check for the actual prevalence of temporary features/tags, but there is a good amount of guidance on the wiki about how to tag them, and no guidance that I can find that discourages doing so. osm.wiki/w/index.php?search=temporary

Also, re: "we don't tag temporary features" -- can you please cite the wiki on this? I can't find any guideline to that effect.

How about removing the inappropriate landuse tag, then, rather than the entire feature? This is no less temporary than the east precinct being abandoned.

Seconding that question. The discussion in <changeset/86421458> (east precinct abandoned tag) may be relevant here.

I'm not a frequent editor, and you clearly are, so I'm not going to fight you on this one. But do you have a source on it being temporary?
