We are adding a note regarding it so the local community would see and edit with their local knowledge on the detours. We will keep checking the operational status of the road on our side. I have made the geometry update based on satellite imagery but could not verify if it is a roundabout or a circular junction due to the unavailability of fresh ground-level imagery. TomTom proprietary GPS traces show no vehicle movement in the last month between nodes 327216001 and 327216037, suggesting the road segment is not yet operational. Moreover, A28: Ersatzneubau einer Brücke an der Anschlussstelle Zwischenahner Meer suggests that the construction will be completed by the end of 2025. I based my edits over the above information. Please let me know if the situation is different than stated.

I have made the necessary changes to tag the area as a service road again. However while analysing the issue I have seen that if area=yes is to be used with highway=service, they mostly happen to be for designated service areas. There also were not other petrol stations that used the service area geometry in the area. So I’m wondering if it is OK to keep the area here, or if it will be better to remove it and keep the line geometry for the service road as presented in Tag:highway=service - OpenStreetMap Wiki .
Please let me know of your thoughts on this matter.

I have made the edit using Bing Aerial Imagery where lane markings are indicative of travel directions. Then I have verified with TomTom proprietary sources showing the traffic flow in that segment is mostly consistent with the one-way tag.

However, your suggestion also makes sense in terms of practicality and accessibility. There is minimal movement at that section in the opposite direction and it may be because that might be a lesser-preferred section by the customers.

I have made the corrections according to your suggestions. But I think additional ground truth is required to confirm this situation confidently.

Hi Giorgio543143, thanks for your patience and for re-adding the roundabout. We have reassessed the scenario based on your feedback. While our GPS traces did not suggest a circular pattern, we have deduced that it's mostly because the low volume of cross-traffic and diving deeper into our sources, we were able to see the circular geometry. We will surely use this experience to improve our editing workflows and thank you for communicating with us.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I referred to Bing Street Level imagery from May 2024 and verified it with several Mapillary tracks using the date filter options. After receiving your message, I cross-verified my edits with other available tracks and observed construction work done on the slip road, which aligns with your input. I made additional data fix by removing the unnecessary right turn restriction from the main road, as turning right is now possible.
