| 169218576 | 6 months ago | Hi, sorry for the late reply, the name for "Jalan Raya" in this case, is the stretch of main road in Bedong town. Basically, it's the translation of Main St., which is either Jalan Besar or Jalan Raya. The reason of putting in the name is it is widely used in addresses in this case, just like "Jalan Pasar" or "Jalan Market" branching out of this road. Other than that, the main identifier is the lot number which is much harder to pinpoint the exact location in real life usage. And regarding the use of this name in official (government) documents, usually state road like this would only have name that indicates its destination, e.g. "Jalan Alor Setar-Butterworth", which is meant for official documentation by JKR (used for road maintanence purpose). And often time, these official documents are hard to come by. The second option, is the so-called "common name" and this is much harder to justify. In this context, it is justified as:
In conclusion, the name is accurate in its local context, but not necessarily for every town with similar roads. Once again sorry for the late reply. |
| 154038020 | over 1 year ago | Hi I saw your edits on Taman Pertama. I'd like to tell you that the building is drawn wrongly as it doesn't follow the actual building outlines. Secondly, the building is tagged incorrectly with the layer being -1, which shouldn't be required if you do not draw the building incorrectly. Anyways, please refer to the wiki for any edits to avoid any mistakes: building=* Thank you. |

| 128922452 | over 2 years ago | Hi, I understood your good intention to connect the bike network but some part of the network aren't made up of separated and dedicated bike lanes (e.g. shared lane, sidewalks and normal streets) and they shouldn't be marked as cycle path. For such cases, a relation denoting the routes should be helpful (if the routes exist officially). Thank you. |
| 130021015 | almost 3 years ago | Hi, Douglas. I think there has been some mistake in your edit. Specifically two I want to point out:
2) I'm not sure where you got the information on the way/1121615341 which is a cycleway from Island Plaza to Lotus's Tanjung Tokong. Is it a brand new cycleway? If not there are no such infrastructure exist at all along the cycleway. That's all, thank you if you're reading through my comment. If I said anything wrong feel free to point it out. |

| 111755875 | about 4 years ago | Ok |
| 112320709 | about 4 years ago | Jalan Thean Tek is already separated before I edited and regarding to the restriction on residential street, I'll fix that |
| 112136452 | about 4 years ago | Good morning. Chew Jetty has both the tags building=house and place=neighbourhood, which is probably a tagging mistake. So in this case, it's more appropriate to use the tag place=neighbourhood for Chew Jetty separately from the houses, if refer to the documentation. Btw thanks for the effort you put into drawing the outline of the houses. Reference:

| 110734937 | over 4 years ago | I've just read the documentation about "unclassified" highways and these roads probably should have been "unclassified" highways. Quote:
I changed it because I've seen similar roads in downtown Georgetown, Ipoh and KL are residential road. Examples:
2. way/41570128 3. way/77194120 Btw thanks for commenting |
