about 1 year ago | I have a photo from November 14th showing that, after intersection reconstruction, this slip lane no longer exists. Please remove!
about 1 year ago | Yeah I do. No slip plane there anymore. Right turn lane is now just a painted lane in same roadway as auto traffic traveling straight.
about 1 year ago | Haven’t gotten to try it yet, but I’m excited to do so! I was just out for a walk and noticed that they were officially open.
| 136988690 | almost 2 years ago | Hi Marc! My intent was to update the maxspeed tag for those roads. Not sure how I managed to assign those values to the surface tag, but I have now fixed the issue for all of those ways. I then used Overpass to check that I hadn't done this in other places. Thanks for calling doing the quality check, and bringing it to my attention!

almost 2 years ago | I have no strong opinions on the issue, and no I hadn’t seen the wiki on USBRS before, so thanks for sharing all the info! I would say to feel free to change back anything as you think is necessary, and I won’t modify network tags moving forward, unless something is clearly incorrect according to the wiki. I don’t recall making the network change in the last month (or even in the last 6 months), so I wonder if it was a part of an older changeset. I’m a lot more cautious now about what I change, and I tend to stick to the conventions and tags that I know really well. -Jordan
almost 2 years ago | Sure! The USBRS is a national network of bike routes, with 18,000 miles so far. The routes are national in that they help connect multiple states, while. Parts of the Grand Rounds trail network along the river are on the USBRS, but that relation is tagged separately.
about 2 years ago | I’ve been waiting a long time for the construction to wrap up! I think a few sidewalk crossings still need to be mapped, but I won’t be able to visit soon to confirm.
over 2 years ago | Hi Oregonian3, I was trying to follow OSM Wiki guidelines for secondary roadway class, like most being lined with businesses, having 2 lanes per direction. Tertiary seemed like a better fit for those features + speed limit, and I tried to tag similar to how it was done in Minneapolis. But I may have gotten it wrong or misunderstood something, so I'm very open to hearing some specific examples that you think should not be tagged as tertiary.
