Hi Zol87,

I have confirmed the temporary Grayland station is in fact open. I will update this finding.

Hi @ConnorGa,

I understand there is no sidewalk here, but the Municipal code of Chicago 9-60-080 allows pedestrian access where there are no sidewalks.

See MUNICIPAL CODE OF CHICAGO
9-60-080 Walking along roadways.
(a) Where sidewalks are provided it shall be unlawful for a pedestrian to walk along and upon an adjacent roadway.
(b) Where sidewalks are not provided any pedestrian walking along and upon a roadway shall when practicable walk only on the left side of the roadway or its shoulder facing traffic that may approach from the opposite direction.

Can you please revert the change?

Thank you,
JakeTheMoose

Hi Zol87,

Are you sure that the temporary Grayland station is closed? I could not find any notice on Metra's website or in local news.

Jake

Hi ExpresswayDave,

I noticed you mapped the "minspeed" tag as 45 mph. During a survey I noticed the speed limit on OSM way/124471097 is 45 mph.

I wanted to consult with you the best way to update the maxspeed & minspeed tags for parts of the highways near downtown Chicago.

I'm thinking wherever there is a posted speed limit of 45 on the highway, to correct the maxspeed and just remove the minspeed tag.

Let me know what you think.
Regards,
Jakub

You beat me to it by mapping Dearborn Denim before I could.
