The council were persuaded however the blue sign on Edge Lane had its cycle symbol covered. Until they can overcome whatever the issue was people will need to dismount here to comply with the law, so you are correct that it shouldn't be tagged bicycles=yes. It is legal to walk a bike through here so bicycles=no isn't accurate, hence using bicycles=dismount.

Please don't use bicycles=no as Cyclestreets treats this like a shopping centre that you can't even walk a bike through. If you instead use bicycles=dismount then journeys and planning will not be negatively affected by Cyclestrees' interpretation of bicycles=no
