Because of my lack of experience with OSM, I'm unable to visualize the actual deleted trails. I can only see the general area where the trails were.
NorthBen seems to have more intimate knowledge of the trail/track changes here so I will defer to them. According to other sources, there are no official trails within this edited area and the Tiger Mountain region is actively being managed by DNR and EMBA and would keep those sources up to date.
I likely added these trails from heatmaps and I've found that most apps/sites ignore tags like access=no & abandoned=yes so deleting this/these tracks is the best course of action in this case.
This region is heavily trafficked so if the trails have been actively closed, we want to make sure they stay that way.
Making me aware of the changes was the right thing to do and for now I accept the changes.
Thank you.

The trails were destroyed by clear cut logging, and no trace of them can be found. The original builders are starting to rebuild some of the trails and trying to loosely follow the track of the original trail. I'm therefore not deleting them yet, so they can be used for reference.
Because these are mainly MTB trails, I removed all biking related tags so they appear different in Open Cycle maps. I've also experimented with the "abandoned" tag, among others, but have yet to find a tag that shows them as de-emphasized when viewed on Open Cycle maps or popular programs that use the open street/cycle data.
If you can help me find a tag that will still show the trail but also show as not being significant, that would be great.
