Ok, fair enough. So would it be ok to assume that the default for Latvian roads that have sidewalks should be left ar bicycle:unknown?

Hi, just found the comment. I assume you reverted all the edits by now? I accept that maybe the 'safe' argument is too subjective, but perhaps adding a bicycle:use_sidepath would be in place? Per Latvian law, it bicycles are advised to use the driving lane on the right if no cycle lane is available -but, if the driving lane is too dangerous in the cyclist's view, he can use the sidewalk. I mostly made these edits since OSM navigation tools like OSMAnd think the driving lanes and U-turns on 11. novembra krastmala are viable cycle lanes, which is totally not the case.

Sveiks. Paldies par adrešu salabošanu šosejas adresēm. Māju nosaukumus es ņēmu no BalticMaps, un tobrīd kaut kā neatradu veidu, kā pielikt māju oficiālo nosaukumu (lai cik muļķīgs tas būtu) kādā citā veidā, kurā tās varētu arī atrast pēc šī nosaukuma. Variants par vienkāršotu risinājumu (14. km) ir diezgan labs.
