Actually, I manually changed the temple from "Church" to "Place of Worship" by selecting it. It did not do that automatically. It was an intentional change on my part.

I wondered if there was some kind of typo because I wasn't seeing the "latt" you mentioned. But I looked deeper and found that. It was my error by entry in the wrong field; I've corrected that.

I see what you are saying about the building=detached vs house=detached. I had just selected House and then added the detached tag. But I saw the difference and believe I have now made the changes as I think they should be per your notes. Feel free to check and confirm.

As to changing from "church" to "place of worship", I again feel that change is correct. The "place of worship" already exists -- I did not add it -- and it is much more appropriate to the building's use than "church". Simply having the name "temple" is not sufficient, in my opinion, to convey that. Can you share history on why "place of worship" would not be desired here? It seems to me that calling it a church -- which it is not -- implies it is there for regular services and open to the public, which it is not.

I only selected the house=detached as that was the settings used for all of the existing homes in that area; i.e., just following what had already been done. It doesn't seem to make sense to change it given that all of the other houses in that area are designated that way.

I certainly understand the historical aspect of using "mormon". Of course, that was name was applied by those outside the membership. While it has historic use -- and would be willing to go with that for consistency -- the fact that there is already an existing entry for "latter-day-saint" tells me that this is already being used elsewhere. Note that I did not create that entry; simply typing "lat" brought it up so I selected it. Thoughts?

Regarding use of "latter_day_saints" as the denomination instead of "mormon": Please explain further. The term "Mormon" is not the correct name for the denomination as noted by the organization itself. The correct term is "Latter-Day Saint". Also, in this instance (with the temple) it is actually a "place of worship" but is not a "church" in the conventional sense. Please help me better understand your point. And thank you for your kindness in bringing this up.

Regarding use of "building=detached": In the houses I added, each appears with "Feature Type" of "Detached House" because I selected "House" and added the "detached" tag. Are you suggesting something different?
