These were already mapped as being within a leisure=sports_centre . You even modified the outline of that sports centre when you invented a separate facility whole cloth and nested it within that sports centre.

Your complete disregard for facilities that are already mapped makes this looks like you're performing mostly semi-mechanical edit that is completely at odds with best practice.

There was a "Tennis and Sports Club" already mapped for this facility. Of course this isn't a separate recreation ground. Stop inventing new fictitious facilities when local mappers who actually know what these things are have checked and correctly mapped them as something else.

OSM terms are based on British English. "Recreation ground" is a common enough term and the OSM usage follows it. What you are doing is vandalising the map.

That's not what a recreation ground is. A recreation ground is a relatively simple park or public space for sport or other recreation, not just the place where someone has put a fence round a tennis court.

We have dedicated tagging for a place set aside for a tennis court or two: leisure=pitch + sport=tennis + count=1/2/3 as appropriate.

You are adding imaginary recreation grounds. Please stop.

Why would you replace a tennis court area with a pair of nodes that are objectively less informative? And what's with the imaginary recreation ground?

This edit makes the OSM less useful.
