Hi 快乐的老鼠宝宝, thank you for reaching out! When I created this island relation the resource I used only had one name value in English (https://rmgsc.cr.usgs.gov/gie/). I will be sure to add this to the name:en tag going forward when working in China. I see you’ve added a lot of additional names and updated the tag here, thank you! Best and happy mapping!

Hi angys, thanks for reaching out. Per OSM guidelines (osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon) there should not be any nodes added as members of multipolygon relations. For this reason I removed it from the island relation. I also don’t think the "label" role was ever officially moved out of a proposed state. In my opinion, the place label can still function as intended without being a part of the island relation, do you agree?

I appreciate you bringing local knowledge to this area, it’s helpful to know when something is not represented well in imagery. Happy mapping!

Hi ftcat, thanks for the information. I'll focus my efforts elsewhere if the imagery is inaccurate here.

Hi Kartenziegel, thanks for reaching out. I will continue to improve the alignment on this river. Do you want to work on the Luena River (www.openstreetmap.org/relation/731728860)? It looks like some improvements can be made on that one around osm.org/#map=11/-11.983839689722043/21.18875242404654 - this way we will not run into conflicts with each other.

Hi tastrax, You can use DG premium Imagery/ Maxar Premium Imagery (Beta) for the whole island. Happy Mapping!

Hi tastrax, I appreciate your effort of improving the Victoria Lake boundary. It looks like the imagery you cited here was low resolution which resulted in an offset from the more updated imagery. Can you take a look? Also, I think you met my co-worker Andrew Wiseman at the Red Cross mapathon at the State of the Map Oceania in Melbourne last year, does that sound familiar?
