you're right, excuses

yes I'm totally fine with just adding the traffic sign..

I was aware we can skip the relationship..

But I figured:"well it doesn't hurt if I add it "

but if it's unnecessary we skip it I'm good with that.. now I know :)

at least it keeps the database minimal that's a big plus of course..

plus if the direction/situation ever changes - it only takes a single change in the database by just changing the oneway tag.. an additional relationship takes more effort.

So yeah from now on will skip unnecessary tagging :)

Same question - why is it invalid? There's a road sign that says no right turn.

So I added it to the map - this restriction - because that's what the sign says.

As with the other comment - I can see that it's unnecessary but to claim a legal sign by the LGU of Baguio to be "invalid" is a bit out of the scope of my understanding of the words "unnecessary" and "invalid"

Why is that turn restriction "invalid?"

There's a sign at the road for no left turn - that's why I added the restriction.

I can accept the "unnecessary" turn restriction but it's definitely and most certainly not invalid.

Please keep the bounding boxes for your uploads smaller if possible.

Example:
map within a city and upload your changes
map within a province and upload you changes

first after uploaded - move on to the next city/province.

Thank you for your considerations

Please after editing within a municipality/province commit your changes - upload them - and then proceed to the next municipality/city/province.

Most certainly NEVER commit changes all of the world - because all of us reviewers will get flagged by these changes - even though your changes may be >10.000km far away.

In short:"keep bounding boxes as small as they have to be"

Thank you

Hi VMPanes - according to the wiki the level starts at the lowest point above earth, which means the parking entrance at the west of SM - first come 5 levels of parking area..

So how can shops have lvl 1 or 2, according to the wiki consensus they should be higher.

Please would you be so kind to keep the bounding boxes small - so not everyone within a radius of 5000km around China will be flagged using OSMCha..

Best practice is update some data in a province/municipality - then commit the changes - and then move on to the next municipality/province.

Thank you

Please would you be so kind to keep the bounding boxes small - so not everyone within a radius of 20.000km around Germany will be flagged using OSMCha..

Best practice is update some data in a province/municipality - then commit the changes - and then move on to the next municipality/province.

Please commit changes/upload edits, before moving on to the next area - otherwise it'll be hard for yourself and for us other mappers to keep track of changes.

hi thanks for removing relationships without any tags.. the useless crap.

However can you next time please do this at least within areas smaller than a country - so we don't get flagged all over the world LOL

Thank you

Hello there, would you be so kind BEFORE you map in the next municipality, province, country always commit your changes.

Thay way we keep the bounding boxes smaller..

Because right now roughly 60% of the world is being flagged by your changeset all over the planet - even if some of your changes are like >5000km from me - I'm still getting you in OSMCha..

Thank you

yes preferable just change within a municipality - and commit changes.. then move to the next...

That way we worldwide aren't flagged by these changes LOL

Hi there, thank you for your contributions.

Would it be okay for you - next time you do such a huge correction - to split up the changes you do and commit them in several steps?

Because with such a huge set of changes, everyone in ASEAN is flagged about your changes, but your changes don't effect us of course, we do get it in our OSMCha though.

So if you can split it up next time in smaller areas and just upload changes over multiple submissions - we're good :)

Thank you

Dear F4htjvd1, you claim your source is "Survey" which means you have personally visited the place and confirm personally the changes you make to the map. However, this edit spans all continents on this planet which are habitable.

1) please for yourself and for us reviewers and other mappers it's impossible (almost) to keep track of the database and changes if changes on huge areas. So I kindly ask you before you edit in another country/province/municipality, first upload what you already got and then you move on.
2) can you explain how you can edit at the whole planet, and at the same time mark you surveyed it all personally?

Thank you

The hydrant:year is NOT the year the hydrant was placed there. It's the year of manufacturing.

Since it's not in the wiki what to do with that information, again to be consistent I "invented" as allowed by OSM main principle - a new tag for this namely the fire_hydrant:year

if you know a better one I'm open for suggestions but I think without any further wiki information on manufacturing year it's as close and consistent as can be.

but it's NOT the start_date, as that i didn't see when I passed by and made a photo of this hydrant.

137863912 over 2 years ago

I do NOT know the start_date, feel free to add it if you're a local and know the start date.

But the year - is the year of the manufacturing of this specific model/type by the manufacturer.

Since there's not yet on the wiki a tag for that - to be consistent with the other tags I added it as fire_hydrant:year

but that's definitely NOT the same as the "start_date"

for more information what start_date means see start_date=*

but again - if you're a local and know when this fire_hydrant was placed, feel free to add it - but don't replace the manufacturing year of that specific model with "start_date" as that's false information then.
