Access to "All=no" because there is only access for motor vehicles, which is set to Permissive.

Wiki or what ever you want to call it, is the defacto user manual for editing OSM. Legally the access is permissive. That's just a fact. And a map should represent facts, not personal interpretations of what it should be.

It's permissive because the Eurotunnel terminal is a privately owned site which Eurotunnel can remove permission to enter at any point. Eurotunnel can and do close access roads from time to time, because access is permissive then they can do so without needing to apply for any permission from the authorities to do so. The user manual for OSM clearly says that Access for ferry terminals should be set to "permissive" and toll=yes.

It's not "yes" according the user manual. Only motor vehicles are allowed access. You can't walk, cycle or ride a horse into the site. According the the User manual, Ferry terminals (of which Eurotunnel is) should be set to "permissive" and toll=yes. Permissive does not mean 'by permission' it means anyone is allowed in (after paying the toll) but the site owner can remove their permission at any point. It's not controversial, it's just accurate. Otherwise there wouldn't be the option for 'Permissive'.

Motorways aren’t explicitly signposted prohibiting horses, bicycles or pedestrians but it’s clear they’re prohibited. Going by the notes the road is correctly tagged, it’s not closed but it can be at any moment at the owners discretion - which is the definition of permissive. The rest of the terminal roads haven’t yet been set to the correct access permissions, the reason most ports aren’t set to the same is that public is the default setting for everything and no one has yet bothered to correct them. I think if you tried wandering around on foot inside most ports you’d soon find yourself picked up by security.

You're welcome. It's basically like a motorway slip road, but unlike a motorway slip it wouldn't need a public notice to close it, whereas Eurotunnel can close this access when ever they like without warning. The equivalent access in France is closed at night for security purposes for example.

Well that was my point, It should only have access for motor vehicles. it was originally set to 'all', however this wasn't accurate. As there is no legal access for anything other than a motor vehicle, because the roads owner doesn't permit access by any other means, doing so would render one liable to be stopped by security or quite possibly the onsite police. If someone where to try planning a route via say bicycle or on foot, then the routing program would have routed them this way when it shouldn't have done.

It's set to permissive for motor vehicles. It's a privately owned road only accessible to motor vehicles, it's not a public highway. Pedestrians, horses, bicycles etc can't use it. I would think if one were to plan a route for a car it would work, but if one were to plan a route on foot or by pedal cycle it wouldn't route you that way - as it should be.

There should be one route through each building, the arrows appear to be doubled up on one of them, but I can't see a way of correcting it.
