Hi Captain! Noticed you surveyed these house numbers and wanted to give you a heads up that we actually have address data through the National Address Database/UGRC that can be merged with these buildings without a survey. I use the Rapid Editor since it makes it easy to pull addresses in. No pressure, just wanted to give you a heads up in case you want to focus surveying time on other things.

Also, was just excited to see the edits! I'm trying to fill out Lehi right now but hoping to work my way over into Saratoga Springs.

Hi Darry, thanks for editing the map! Just noticed you surveying house numbers and wanted to give you a heads up that there's an existing database of addresses called the National Address Database which includes Mapleton addresses, meaning they can be imported without needing on the ground survey. I've been meaning to add the addresses, but since mapleton also has houses that need to be traced I haven't got around to it.

Surveying addresses like you are is in no way a problem, I just wanted to let you know a survey isn't required in case you'd rather focus your surveying on other attributes or to save you some walking.

Hi Robins, looks like this was probably a test of the deflock app. Could you confirm and delete the camera? Changes are pushed pretty quickly to the live map, so it's a totally understandable mistake. Also just an FYI if you do spot any unmapped cameras in SLC, the city uses Motorola, though you still might see Flock near hardware stores or UTA stations. Thanks for helping map ALPRs!

Hi, looks like you removed the 'South' prefix from the name:full tag, which should correctly read 'South State Street.' The standard name tag also happens to be incorrect, 'State St' isn't acceptable since we don't use abbreviations in OSM (you didn't do this, I just noticed it.)

Take a look at the Utah naming conventions on the wiki: osm.wiki/Utah/Naming_Conventions

We use the 'South State Street' as a sort of fix for Utah's weird addresses. Since it wouldn't be correct to put '350 South' in the building number field.

Hi Erich, just wanted to say everything looks great on this. Also just as a general heads up if you're wanting to map more houses, the national address database can save you the trouble of surveying individual addresses. (mainly want to point that out since I wasted a hot afternoon a few years ago noting them by hand.)

Hi, looks like this might be a duplicate of the Motorola node just north of it. However, I don't want to rule out another agency placing a flock camera here. Do you recall having seen two cameras? Thanks for keeping an eye out and mapping these!

I'm assuming the bounding box is just because of the frontrunner relations... please don't hesitate to revert if necessary.

Relations were copied over to multipolygon. Hoping I got everything right. The dimensions for the inside of the relation represent the paths down the stairs and the ramp. The rough size is based off photos I took while surveying. Further work to improve underground detail is needed.

This might be an accidental remap of the camera on 300 West? There doesn't seem to be a camera here.

Walley, this camera is not present on relatively recent streetview imagery. 300 North is also a city owned road, so I would not expect to see a UDOT motorola on it. Can you confirm this was surveyed and is not just a test?

Any clarification on this and your other deletions? It seems unlikely that this camera would have been removed within two weeks of being added to the map.

Thanks for fixing this. Sometimes it's hard to catch the few random buildings that had differently formatted addresses before.

They're pretty recognizable once you've seen a few. Almost always powered by a small solar panel and the cameras themselves are black and a somewhat unique rounded shape. My understanding is that SLC does not use ALPR cameras, so these are owned by UDOT.

Not sure what happened here but there is no bus platform. The adjacent apartment was under construction last year through early this year which might've prevented construction. The city may build this platform later.
