I’ve just tried to disconnect the boardwalk from the wall but don’t know how ( I’m relatively new to OSM)
It actually hits the footpath 20m or so back. Could you either do this or tell me how? Thanks.

Hi Bernard, I don’t know in regards to the Right of Way.
At the NE end, I’ve just seen that I extended the boardwalk a bit far. I’ll remedy that now. Basically at that end, the existing footpath just runs along the beach and the boardwalk ends just before the beach starts.

At the SW end it would be quite hard to pin point exactly where the boardwalk ends as it is relatively random. I suppose it kind of takes the place of the footpath (the whole point of the boardwalk is that the footpath along there regularly floods)
It is also worth noting that there is a new fence running parallel to the boardwalk but it only goes halfway before turning up the field, splitting the field in two. Basically it would be very hard to accurately place both the new boardwalk and a few other features (including the fence), without updated satellite imagery.

hi Bernard, I can confirm it exists as I helped build it. the boardwalk was built in the last year so satellite imagery is evidently not up to date, because of this I had to guess a little in regards to its exact position. the bridge is also not there anymore it is just the boardwalk.
