A "name" tag didn't exist before, no "name" tag was removed, as you can see in the history: way/732390430/history I cannot add a name in a language I don't know precisly. You are free to add the name tag, if you are firm in Standard Morrocan Tamazight. :) .

Why did you remove the Arabic name from the "name" tag? Also, why are you changing the "name" tag without looking for community-consent? I neither found a discussion in the OSM Wiki nor in the forums or mailing lists, that there is a approval for name-changing.

French names were added without community consent or discussion by a single user, this is forbidden, I am just restoring the previous community-consent status quo. French is neither an official language in Mauritania nor a native language of the population in Mauritania. But you are right in the case that I should make my comments more descriptive. :)

Generic names like "house" are undesirable in OSM, so they have to be removed. The whole nodes where faulty created and needed to be recreated. A house node is completely unneeded and can be redrawn by someone through the satelitte images. I just forgot to also remove check_date.

I am not the person who entered the tag "boundary=Emergency". Please contact the correct person for that. You can find it in the changelog history.

As far as I see the name Wadi Theeb for this neighbourhood was already correct, while Theeb is the name of the whole municaplity.

Sources should not be in the "description" tag. There is a "source" tag for this. In addition, it must first be clarified whether the source you are using is allowed by copyright.

I don't know what you mean by the Wikidata tag. Wikidata aggregates data worldwide, regardless of the language in which Wikipedia articles exist.

Hundreds of thousands of street names have Arabic in the "name" tag and English in the "name:en" tag. There is a reason for this and it would be absurd to change it.

Of course English is a lot spoken in the big cities, but the official and native language is Arabic, especially in rural and mountainous regions.

For "The National Atlas of the United Arab Emirates" also an equal Arabic language edition exists. Do you even have a permission/licence to use this work for OSM?

You can use of course the Latin/English name in the primary "name" tag, if there is no Arabic equivalent available. But if there is already an Arabic name in the primary name tag, it should not be changed.

Kumzari is also written with Arabic alphabet and place names in Kumzari are identical or nearly-identical to their Arabic equivalent, so this is more an argument in favour of using Arabic as primary name.

The only official languages of the United Arab Emirates and Oman according to its consitution is Arabic. As you can see the primary name of all names in UAE and Oman is Arabic.

According to the OSM guidelines the name tag must be in the native language. Names in Russia are in Russian in Cyrillic alphabet, names in China are in Chinese in Chinese alphabet, names in Arab countries are in Arabic with Arabic alphabet. So please don't change the primary language without the local community consent, this is against OSM rules.
