Hi user1572739, thank you for your communication. I made the edits according to the most recent GPS traces available to me to reflect the rerouting accurately. I will regularly monitor the situation and perform the necessary updates going forward as well.

Hi Jeroen Hoek, thank you for reverting the changeset. The challenges are only flagging very short road segments, not all of them requiring fixes. As you point out the center line orientation in this example, I should have keep the configuration as is. Thanks for your feedback and understanding.

Hi mos_next_door,
I reviewed the GPS traces from the past two months and observed that vehicles were traveling along this way. However, I didn’t catch that there was no traffic since May 22.
I will be more diligent with my future edits to avoid similar oversights. In the meantime, you can see the changeset reverted to restore the previous state.
Kindly thank you for bringing this to my attention.

At the time of the edit (February 11, 2026), multiple datasets (speed and direction) were supporting this decision. I appreciate you sharing recent visual evidence from the location.

Please feel free to inspect screenshots of the GPS datasets from the time of the edit and from the past week here: https://github.com/tomtom-international/open-data/discussions/194. It might be a temporary situation, or I might have misinterpreted the movement of construction vehicles at that time.

We generally perform edits in OSM based on feedback from customers or TomTom’s local map experts. If we can verify this with other supporting evidence such as imagery or GPS traces, we perform the edits.

Thank you for your interest in our mapping workflows. Please feel free to reach out to our project managers via osm@tomtom.com if you want to discuss these processes further.

Hi A67-A67,

Thank you for reverting the changeset. Since that was a large area, I was planning to perform the edits in multiple changesets and was also going to address the turn lanes in consecutive edits. Based on TomTom’s GPS traces, there are still potential improvements based on section alignment. Please let me know if you’re OK with me performing those edits.
