| 100965310 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, I surveyed this over two visits, and I added tags based on the collection points inside the centre. The place is operated by Greenstar(/Panda), though Indaver seem to maintain a more up to date website. I also took a photograph of the sign posted at the entrance:
Indaver has a list that seems to match what is displayed on site:
(Limerick.ie and GreenPanda(presumably Greenstar/Panda) also maintain pages with opening hours, contact details.) Seems I can resolve most of those tags with those listed here: amenity=recycling oil,oil_filters => engine_oil
My own brevity and maybe ID's tag predictions to blame :) |

| 62792339 | about 7 years ago | Hi McCann,
I see this is your first changeset too. OSM wouldn't work without people signing up & learning how to use it - I assume that was your intention. There's sometimes (not too often) meetups and map-athons etc. and openstreetmap can be an amazing resource, free and open source, for anyone to use. Unfortunately, at the same time, there are some services (wayfinding for instance) and there might be an issue with mistakenly directing someone to a hospital in the wrong location. If you have any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask. |
| 59116892 | over 7 years ago | Probably something that I should research further on the wiki- the term "disused", in my mind, has suggestions of "derelict" or "abandoned"... I merely meant that it is a viable unit, available/in suitable condition to be rented, and waiting for a tenant. But I am happy to change it for clarity. I am sure I have used the same nomenclature across the city. If you see any let me know... Incidentally, internal works are nearly complete and will be ready to reopen in three weeks - observed this in person, and spoke to the new manager. Looking forward to it reopening as the Green Onion. |
