From https://www.mountainproject.com/area/107795033/bella-vista-slab

Getting There
Either climb something on the Belleview Slab or walk around it climber's left and scramble up a steep gully. From the top of the Belleview, walk 120' climber's left to the base of this slab.

I haven't been on that path so I don't know. I don't recall making a change there, but if I did it was probably based on STRAVA or other GPX source.

Most of those "trails" are old logging roads and not officially maintained trails. They are usually a bit overgrown and difficult for casual user to follow.

They are most likely old woods roads that show up in the DEM model ("USGS 3D Elevation Program" or "NYS Hillshade")

I changed it from "Line" to "Path" .... since it does not show up at all with "Line" when you view it in Caltopo with the OSM layer.
I generally just mark these old roads/paths as informal and change the visibility to Bad or Horrible if they are hard to follow or not worth following.

I use the LIDAR that is in the OpenStreetMap editor. Either the second "NYSDOP Latest Orthoimagery (Natural Color)" or the "USGS 3D Elevation Program".

I think they come from the NY GIS library orignally.

THanks for verifying those paths on the south side of Platte Clove.

Yes, they are mostly based on LIDAR. I deleted many of them as per your recommendation, and changed others to informal paths. They probably still exist on the ground, if only a bit overgrown. The only I am sure about is the jeep trail that starts off of Glastenbury road south of a pond.

I got the route names from this map on AllTrails
https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/hilltown-pinnacle-draft-0966289

These are trails on camp Pinnacle that are used by a ATV club. I will update them to Private.

No, I only walked it a short distance before turning around.

I believe I have Yankee Smith as the trail that roughly follows the land boundary between Kiskatom and Dutcher creek.
I did not put in the Little Stoppel trail as it is hardly used ... can't find any track logs for it anyways.
The area is also complicated by an elaborate network of mountain bike trails.
I have been using the Strava heat map plus whatever track logs I can find to draw the trails in.
I will have to look into the tagging issue.
