Hi, thanks for your comment. I didn't come up with the name myself. I just happened to find that the area used to have a population of Estonian-Swedes, and therfore an old Swedish name exists. This one was mentioned in the Swedish National encyclopedia (also on the Swedish Wikipedia page for Madise). But you are right that the current name in use is Madise so I'll fix my mistake. Apologies.
