| 146826739 | almost 2 years ago | To summarize the post, the approach would be to add a golf:course:name tag to each golf=hole way in order to designate which course it belongs to. So in this case, it could be Der A-Kurs

| 146826739 | almost 2 years ago | @highflyer74 The golf=hole wiki says that the ref=* should be the "number of the hole". A1 & B1 are alphanumeric strings, not numbers. At this course, it seems the reason for the A & B prefixes is to differentiate the A and B 9-hole courses. Unfortunately, the OSM golf spec doesn't really account for multiple courses within a single boundary. It is a problem we've come across many times, and another mapper referred us to this thread where a solution was proposed: https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/75934/golf-course-how-to-differentiate-between-two-18-hole-courses-at-one-club We have adopted that approach, as have some other golf course mappers. |
