Just a quick note: "landuse=residential" and "place=village" serve different purposes. "landuse=residential" represents the area primarily used for residential purposes, while "place=village" marks the location and name of a settlement.

Instead of replacing one with the other, it’s best to keep the residential area and add a "place=village" node inside it.

For a building relation, the outline should not be tagged as "building:part=*", see osm.wiki/Relation:building
