Hi lipuma, thanks for the follow-up question. The most recent free to use imageries in Mexico are Bing aerial imagery and Esri World Imagery depending on the specific location. Building footprint development and street alignment can be helpful in determining the most recent imagery per location. I hope this is helpful!

Hi, thanks for the question. Apple has an agreement with Maxar to use their more recent imagery to edit OpenStreetMap, which is not publicly available for editing OpenStreetMap. We generally use the imagery that is already available in JOSM but where we do use that more recent imagery, we always cite it and the date the imagery is from in the changeset source. Hopefully this answers your question!
