Yes, the easist way to determine the history of OpenStreetMap (OSM) elements is the Query Feature button (it's the last button on the right panel of the screen, featuring an arrow pointing to the left, with a question mark.

In this case, the land feature was named 8 days ago.

OSM never claims to be authoritative, or official. Ergo, caveat emptor. With or without OSM, it's not hard to create fantasy maps.

You appear to trying to map something else, but you're tagging them as "camp sites."

It's better to tag sari-sari stores as `shop=convenience`, rather than `shop=yes`.

Example tags appropriate tag for short-term construction work: construction=minor + motor_vehicle:conditional=no @ (2018 May 1-2022 May 31)

highway=construction should only be used when a road is **impassable** due to construction activity.

If partial access is possible (e.g. one lane remains passable), highway=*, and access=* tags remain as-is.

A note is definitely going to be useful for reference.

I'm not actually asking about the PSGC codes or the is_in key (you appear to be using them as expected), and the local community has discussed this before, and treat those as "facts".

However, it seems you're saying that you're tracing boundaries from the PSA geodata ?

May I know if you got PSA's permission before doing so? If so, can you share with us the permission letter you got from them?

Are you saying you're tracing the administrative boundaries you're modifying from data of the Philippines Statistics Authority?

I observed in your edits that you've been connecting landuse boundaries to highways in the subdivisions you've edited.

This isn't actually a recommended practice since it can cause more issues down the line. Please check out the wiki for this particular concern: osm.wiki/Land_use#Mapping_land_use_in_more_detail

As I told you earlier, there's really nothing to "fix", and that the issue you're encountering is your browser retrieving the cache version of the map, rather than the fresh one from the OSM database.

The workaround is to *force* your browser to refresh it's cache.

At any rate, and thanks to you, the highway is now geocoded correctly, and with the correct name. 🎉

I noticed some spurious edits you recently made, and I'm wondering if you need any help with the tools or imagery you're using?

Usually, mappers will trace buildings features that appear on imagery, but what you've added appear to be way off, and actually is already on the map.

There's no need to add this because the feature is already mapped.
