Do you know that you can add useful photos for these type of POI?

Easiest would be via MapComplete, via their memorial theme: https://mapcomplete.org/memorials

And then, downstream apps using OpenStreetMap can show them like this to end-users:

No biggie, and thank you for the valuable help.

We're looking forward to more of your edits. 😉

Thank you for helping improve the map!

Maybe you overlooked it, but you can also add the extra attributes for the highway.

Also, ESRI imagery in this region is usually newer than Bing, so it makes sense to check out the layer, too.

Keep up the good work!.

Good job! Thanks.

The #ChasingWaterways project has an FAQ here: https://hackmd.io/@osmph/H1ZB1J9Tle

There's also a casual chat room with fellow waterway chasers: https://i.delta.chat/#BEC7F4ECF589A3B882326E4CD1E9FAAC3F594094&a=7dukx5bbi%40chika.aangat.lahat.computer&g=Chasing%20Waterways&x=_N5JnALdaWAiYVH5eomFTXFO&i=iqjoGqQ5YdthzU2BrXI2wAa9&s=_noE2gfzO70CjYPTU_GNAMQy , where folks can learn from each other.

Thank you for your regular contributions to the #ChasingWaterways project!

In case you missed it, we have an FAQ, and the pointers for the Hidden Waterways campaign may be specially interesting for you: https://hackmd.io/@osmph/H1ZB1J9Tle#HiddenWaterways-Pointers

Hello there! Thank you for contributing to the #ChasingWaterways project.

If the waterway is clearly visible from the aerial imagery, do not add the fixme=waterway tag. That tag is only used for the "hidden waterways" that needs a secondary review.

You can learn more about the initiative from our FAQ, and specifically, the pointers for the Hidden Waterways campaign here: https://hackmd.io/@osmph/H1ZB1J9Tle#HiddenWaterways-Pointers

You're welcome, and I hope you're enjoying editing the map.

My bad.

You added it yourself, already, and I incorrectly referred to building made five years ago.

Thanks!

Hi @MoriFlex!

re way/1552759498

If the footway is on the sea wall itself, you can combine these tags on the same element:
barrier=wall
wall=seawall
highway=footway

Thanks for checking it out!

According to this imagery, one of the footways you added is traversible by tricycless

https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=14.600903199972&lng=121.0236541&z=17&dateFrom=2023-01-01&pKey=1099830347769714&focus=photo&x=0.7547286981979231&y=0.5512457643331867&zoom=0

So, that qualifies it as as residential road, at least, and maybe motorcar=no.

Thank you. I'll have to check what their new dataset says about this school's location

Hi there. I think you would want to review this edit.

If you follow along the waters of Maytunas creek upstream, you should be able to determine that it flows Westward, going into the Pasig River because their elevation is higher.

These are the kind of details I like seeing on the map. Thanks for adding! 👌

By the way, Totor, I wonder if you are interested in helping verify some stream names in Cebu?

https://maproulette.org/virtual/6401

The tasks should be visible on Vespucci, JOSM (tho the Maproulette plugin is wonky right now), or RapiD: https://rapideditor.org/edit#map=18.28/10.27945/123.86531&maproulette=55827

Yeah, it seems that folks who enjoy using JOSM tend to like Vespucci, too. 😇

If you're looking for a tool for undoing your edits, try using https://revert.monicz.dev with your OSM account.

It's quite easy to make mistakes on mobile, but this should make rollbacks easy.

Yep, StreetComplete really helps with quick edits, but I personally prefer the SCEE version, same banana with a different sauce, for experienced mappers: https://github.com/Helium314/SCEE

Thank you for your edit. When adding POIs, only use the proper name, in this case "Lee - Shaw Boulevard" is actually a branch reference.

If you're using Vespucci or EveryDoor, many common brands are already available as a template you can conveniently add, and just edit the branch information, if you like.

A very good first edit in OpenStreetMap(OSM)! Thanks for contributing, and welcome to OSM. How did you stumble into the project?

👋 I also see that you've been contributing regularly with Vespucci. 🤩 So, what are your favorite features of this particular editor?
