RideWithGPS has some things that haven't properly imported for mountain biking. I've changed them to "Designated" and will see if that gets them to show up more accurately. There are some trails that are under prominent in their system, so I've also been adding in IMBA ratings and correcting surfaces on these as well.

I appreciate the clarification, and am currently trying to make the correction to another space that I made a similar edit on. There is a section of South Mount Elbert that has been removed and set for re-vegetation, but is still visible. I'll look around later today to see about reverting that change.

The only thing I can think of is that the short cut being discussed in this comment went in during winter, as sometimes snow routes and summer routes can differ due to the ground protection that happens.

There is no indication that this trail exist on the ground.

If you look at satellite imagery for the area, there isn't anything on the ground there.

When I was up there two days ago, there were no indications of this trail existed. It could perhaps be a winter route, but there is nothing in that pathway that I saw, except the sensitive vegetation that grows at 13,000' of elevation.
